Rosedale On the Park

Our trip to Hong Kong was planned just at the end of February, when Monique and Luisa hatched up a plan to watch one of their favorite pop rock groups in concert.  For the trip, we chose the Rosedale on the Park, a 3-star hotel in the Causeway Bay area, where shopping is available till practically midnight!  The suite that we got was quite spacious and had all the amenities that one would need (e.g. room safe, refrigerator, internet connection).  The staff was pretty courteous and every time we asked for help (e.g. electricity adapter, more soap), the response time was pretty fast.

The only drawback of the place is that the bathroom is pretty cramped.  In fairness, this can be said for around 70% of the hotel rooms in Hong Kong... hehehe...

Hong Kong is pretty cool this time of the year, and we were comfortable with jackets during the daytime.  At night, however, temperatures would drop to around 17 degrees Celsius, so it was wise to zip up to keep the wind chill out!  A friend had told me we were quite lucky--a week before, the rains kept a gloomy atmosphere over the city.
